Dr. M. Chandrasekar is a distinguished academician, researcher, accreditation expert, and Professor in the field of Mechanical Engineering with over 12 years of teaching experience and industrial exposure. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, and was awarded the degree with Highly Commended recognition. His research specialization includes Heat Transfer, Nanofluids, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Helical Coil Heat Exchangers.

Dr. Chandrasekar has made significant contributions to engineering research, particularly in the area of MWCNT-based nanofluids and heat exchanger performance enhancement. He has authored several research papers published in reputed SCI/SCIE-indexed international journals, including Springer, Elsevier, Heliyon, Thermal Science, and the Journal of Applied Fluid Mechanics. His research work has received recognition from the Centre for Research, Anna University, for publishing in a Q1 journal during his doctoral studies.

He is a recognized Research Supervisor of Anna University, Chennai, guiding scholars in Mechanical Engineering and related interdisciplinary domains. His recent research interests extend to Machine Learning Applications in Manufacturing, Sustainable Energy Systems, Biodiesel Engines, and Green Nanotechnology.

Apart from academics and research, Dr. Chandrasekar has extensive experience in institutional accreditation, quality assurance, and higher education management. He served as an Accreditation Lead Auditor and has actively contributed to NAAC, NBA, and quality enhancement initiatives in higher education institutions. He has also held key administrative positions such as IQAC Coordinator, Academic Mentor, and Class Advisor.

Dr. Chandrasekar is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and holds a patent titled "An Efficient Wearable Sensor Device for Monitoring Blood Pressure."
